Analysts Enton Abilekaj and Artan Hoxha have commented on political developments and the civic protest that has entered its 30th day, stating that the movement is not only targeting Prime Minister Edi Rama, but the entire old political class, including the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

Invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, they declared that Rama will not willingly leave power, but will try to buy time and ease political pressure.

" The case of Orban in Hungary shows a lot. He was also supported by Trump, they constantly made demands on him, but he kept winning. The situation changed when a new alternative emerged. I believe that in September Rama will make changes in the government. He will remove some ministers that he does not even know himself and will try to find new people, buy them politically and tell the citizens: 'Here you have the change'. As far as I know Rama, he does not recognize resignation as a concept. He will make the most of his time ," said Hoxha.

On the other hand, Enton Abilekaj expressed that, in his opinion, the prime minister has already lost the political battle and that every day he remains in power only deepens the crisis.

" There is no political salvation for Rama. He only loses votes, he never wins again. The further away the day of his departure, the more the protest will be there and the more he will overthrow himself. Whether he leaves like Ceausescu or chooses another path like Orbani, that is his choice. Orbani proved to be smarter ," declared Abilekaj.

According to two analysts, the civic protest has passed the stage of a revolt against a government and has transformed into a movement that demands change of the entire political class.
