The former deputy of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Vangjel Tavo has corrected the rumors that Prime Minister Edi Rama proposed to him to become the mayor of Himara while Fredi Beleri is in custody.
Asked by 'RTSH' about this issue, Tavo neither denied nor admitted that he was contacted by Prime Minister Edi Rama, where according to the Greek media he was proposed to become the mayor of Himara.
According to Vangjel Tavos, the family moment he is in was inappropriate when it is claimed that he was contacted by the head of the government, Edi Rama. While he emphasized that he is not aware of what the Greek media write.
We remind you that regarding these rumors, the well-known Greek newspaper "Ekathimerini" wrote that Prime Minister Edi Rama has proposed to former MP Vangjel Tavo to become the mayor of Himara, while Fredi Beleri is in custody on the charge of buying votes on May 14. and until the issue of the latter is resolved, as a way to resolve the crisis with Athens.
According to the Greek media, Rama met Vangjel Tavo in one of Tirana's cafes, whom he asked to become the mayor of Himara. While the latter has made it clear to Rama that he would only accept it if it was accepted by the Greek side.
