Analyst Frrok Çupi has stated that the Democratic Party has closed the cycle and that according to him former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has used it as a shield for his interests.
In an interview for "abc news", he also commented on Berisha's speech from the window of the apartment this evening, which Çupi called a violation of the arrest warrant.
" Berisha committed flagrant violations and the circumstances are very aggravating for him. He was forbidden to communicate with people, but he did not. So it is a flagrant violation not only of the law, but also of the court's decision. I wonder why those people who live there don't report to the police to ensure their peace of mind. There are businesses there that do not belong to Berisha. But this one until the last day violates people. I don't let work live normally. He now also creates violence for people in his own alley ", said Çupi.
Meanwhile, Çupi added that the USA has always supported the democratization of the country and according to him, the arrest of Berisha is a gift from the Americans to the democracy of our country.
" To this day, as a true ally of Albania, he tends to see Albania as a normal country. America does not stop supporting the democratization of the country. We saw that Salianji changed his attitude after visiting the USA. The neutralization of the Berisha phenomenon is comparable to the neutralization of murderers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Berisha will be noted as one of the contributions of Albanian and US justice, of course, to remove a danger from the country ", he said.
