Surprisingly, from a meeting which lasted around 5 hours, only one news leaked out, that of Rama's criticism of Veliaj, as if it were a message showing the next "victim" of the Renaissance.
Today, the National Assembly of the SP was held, where, in addition to discussions on the restructuring of the party and the start of preparations for the 2025 elections, the "head" and divisions within the socialists came to light.
Until now, the attention of the unrest within the party has been on the PD, but it seems that the waters have also been disturbed in the SP.
During the meeting of the Assembly, which took place behind closed doors, Rama attacked Veliaj, Xhaçka and also some other names that he was close to until yesterday, but who have remained dissatisfied.
Clans have often been talked about in SP and today Rama gave the first signal that we may be facing a big "war".
The head of the district of Tirana for the SP, Erjon Veliaj, was said to have been criticized for his performance in the local elections that were held in Kavaja, where the socialists also lost the municipality.
It is even said that Rama addressed Veliaj with the words: "What are these useless meetings you hold, you have become an NGO" referring to the bad organization of work.
Even after his exit from the Assembly, Rama did not deny the criticisms against him, but tried to generalize them, not referring to specific cases.
Surprisingly, from a meeting which lasted around 5 hours, only one news came out, that of Rama's criticism of Veliaj, as if it was a message that showed that maybe Veliaj might have the fate of those whom until yesterday he made "the hole".
Echoing the criticism of Veliaj was also a clear message for the socialists, which of the groups "fighting" for power within the Socialist Party should not be supported.
Having said that, it would not be surprising at all that with the incinerator scandal that has turned into a nightmare for "Renaissance", Rama would throw Veliaj into the hands of justice to close this matter once and for all.
The statements of the former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj clearly seem to have shocked the government and the entire SP, which has not dared to comment on any of his statements. Even the Prime Minister today refused to comment on the statements of the former No. 2, of his government, saying that justice deals with this matter.
But on the other hand, it seems that SPAK can no longer remain silent about the incinerator affair after the statements of Ahmetaj, who may in the future issue documents that prove his accusations. Which would then completely undermine citizens' confidence in the new justice system, if it does not react now and quickly.
Also, the arrival of the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken in Tirana and his meeting with Altin Dumani, can increase the pressure on SPAK to hit higher in the hierarchy of corruption.
Under these conditions, it seems that Rama is leading you to all possible scenarios. And just today, Rama gave the signals that maybe he is ready to release his associate.
For years, Veliaj has tried to create his own clan in the SP, but now that his file has been opened in SPAK, Rama gave him the signal that he is like everyone else, if he works behind his back, you know where he ends up. / Pamphlet
