The affairs with the properties on the coast of Lezha continue. According to sources, 11 officials of the Lezha Cadastre have been suspended from their duties.

The suspended officials are Albana Gjinaj, Marinela Tuci, Orstela Bardhaj, Sebastjano Gjetja, Besjon Ivanaj, Ornela Marku, Eglantin Lleshaj, Dorina Sulaj, Xhentil Gjegji, Vitore Lleshi, Diljana Prenga.

They have been put under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of Lezha, since, according to the prosecution body, they have not implemented a court decision regarding a property in the area of ​​"Rana e Hedhun" in Shengjin.

The issue of properties in Lezha has always been the subject of debate. A few years ago, several officials were arrested, among them a former deputy. The big fight is over the properties in Rana e Hedhun, where everyone claims to be the owner, privatizing the sand.

In connection with this affair, the former mayor of Lezha, Fran Frrokaj, was sentenced to 3 years in prison. Fran Frrokaj was investigated in a free state, and in September 2020, the First Instance sentenced him to 4 years in prison, but the Appeal of Shkodra, with a decision of 2022, decided to reduce his sentence to 3 years.

The alienation of properties in Lezhë has been a matter of justice for years, when SPAK was dealt the biggest blow with the seizure of 55 million euros of property, income from the theft of state land. 13 million euros of assets seized in July belong to the group of Fran Frrokaj and 10 others, for whom SPAK closed the investigations, while 42 million euros of assets seized in 2017 belong to the group of the brother and sister of former MP Arben Ndoka.
