Triple accident on the Vlora-Fier highway

A car accident occurred this Friday morning on the Vlora-Fier highway, near the village of Panaja, involving three vehicles.

According to preliminary data, a “Benz” van with license plates AB 498 JR, another “Benz” vehicle and a heavy-duty vehicle were involved in the collision. Due to the strong impact, the water tanker went off the road and overturned on its side, causing a partial traffic jam on this road segment.

After being notified of the incident, police forces and an investigation team arrived at the scene and are working to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident. Meanwhile, emergency teams have intervened to provide first aid to the people involved.

Preliminary sources indicate that one person was injured and taken to hospital for medical treatment, while fortunately no loss of life was reported. Police are continuing their investigations to determine the responsibilities and causes of the accident.
