The deputy of the Socialist Party, Petro Koçi, and the one of the Socialist Party, Luan Baçi, have debated about the opposition action in the Assembly.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", Baçi said that Koçi and other socialist MPs are being lectured by the party to attack the opposition action with the argument that it is done to protect former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
But Koçi countered by saying that he does not take lessons from anyone. He quips that although everyone in politics looks a bit like a professor, they actually remain students until the end.
Excerpts from the studio debate:
Baçi: If you are going to continue with that game that is unfortunate, immoral, that this opposition action is done to protect Sali Berisha. I could be wrong, but that's what you meant. They took it as a lesson, they took it from the party to attack only in this direction.
Koçi: I cannot be lectured by anyone about what I will say in a conversation, or in my words in Parliament. We are not fallen from the sky. We are all little professors in politics, but we remain students until the end.
Baçi: Calling elected members of the opposition a paramilitary action who have been slaughtering them for two years because of the internal developments of the opposition, this is not fair. Paramilitary action for what? Who enters the Parliament with a smoker?
