Journalist Artan Hoxha has revealed details of the police operation in Elbasan where 45 people were arrested and seven others were declared wanted.
Invited to the show "Te Paespozuarit", Hoxha stated that the arrests were made against drug distributors, otherwise known as "stalls" or "kiosks".
According to the journalist, this was an operation aimed at hitting the endpoint of drug trafficking and distribution and not the "big heads".
" Last night at midnight they tell me that there is a large concentration of police in Sauk, where the police academy is located.
The suspicion was that they don't want to fall to the MEK again. For the first time, a district attorney's office conducts such a massive operation. It is so massive that they had nowhere to take it, so they put it on a bus to bring it to Tirana.
It is about the attack on four groups involved in the trafficking of narcotics. This group is more concerned with distribution. The narcotics distribution network has been hit. I asked in the afternoon and they told me that they have removed all the "stalls". The new stalls will arrive next month. Among these four groups, 29 of them are filed. Squares are separated, with groups.
The prosecution has intercepted and hit the distribution network in the district of Elbasan, i.e. stalls and kiosks. Four groups were hit. One of these turned out to be supplied from Tirana. A kilogram of cocaine, a kilogram or so of heorin, cannabis was seized.
The objective of the investigation is the disturbance of internal traffic in the city, near the schools, the university. You can find it very easily in Elbasan. This is intended to capture endpoints, hubs and those who command hubs.
This was the purpose of this operation.
The part of the operation, that is how they are caught, has gone using the incentivized purchase. Police agents have infiltrated ," Hoxha declared.
