Former prosecutor Ervin Karanxha has stated that there is no more justice today.
As the prosecutor of the January 21 case, Karanxha said that the file was sabotaged and this was declared after 15 years.
Karanxha stated that the General Prosecutor's Office, then headed by Ina Rama, did not take over the case.
Asked in the Quo Vadis studio on Vizion Plus if there will ever be justice for January 21, the former prosecutor stated that, unfortunately, the evidence has been destroyed.
He added that the person should be asked why he did not do his duty and the role of the Soros Foundation should be looked at.
Karanxha: Today there is no more justice. Trials risk going towards 30 years. Today people are dying and not getting justice. For me it is a very serious mistake. Other forms should have been found so that the system would not be out of control. Access to justice, reasonable deadlines have been violated in every aspect. Today many trials are held in a consulting room. Even the Supreme Court, 0.01% of cases are tried in a court session. This access has disappeared. Citizens today have the court out of control. Today there is a fear of a husband and wife being separated because they cannot conduct the trial. Politicians themselves entered the system when it was old and they did their job.
Borakaj: Rama said there will be justice on January 21, even though it will be delayed.
Karanxha: I was the prosecutor of the case and I was removed by someone who doesn't matter. There is a very big problem with January 21. After 15 years, the Supreme Court has said that the General Prosecutor's Office was competent to investigate senior officials. At that time, it was Ina Rama and she did not take over this case. This was found after 15 years. This is unfair because you cannot throw mud after 15 years. The truth must come out why the former general prosecutor did not conduct an investigation into January 21. Meanwhile, Ina Rama, who sabotaged the January 21 file, has been promoted.
