At the request of SPAK, the Special Court issued 24 security measures against members of the administration and staff of the Agricultural University of Tirana.
Of these, 5 measures are "prison arrest", 10 are "house arrest" and 9 other measures are "obligation to appear".
SPAK officially announced that the persons against whom security measures have been imposed are being investigated for criminal offenses of corruption and violation of equality in tenders.
In an interview on the show "Real Story", criminal expert Ervin Karamuço said that a major action was carried out regarding this event, referring to the procedures that were followed.
He added that the rector is expected to refer this matter to the Albanian Parliament tomorrow, also regarding the cell phone that was taken from him.
"The action was also great because of the procedures that were followed. It seems that there was an internal hiss, it reached a point where they moved on to legal procedures, the police followed it with great responsibility."
When it was seen that there were elements of a criminal offense and corruption, it referred the case to the special prosecutor's office. There are entire commissions where everyone, according to SPAK, is responsible.
I am not aware of the issue of what role one or the other had. We expected that there would be something big, we are quick to say who is the culprit. The focus that is close to what the prime minister says, on standards. A cell phone is only dealt with in an emergency case urgently by BKH.
"Tomorrow the rector will refer this matter to the Albanian Parliament, also in relation to the mobile phone, and because no charges have been filed against him, the matter is expected to be considered, and we will again come to the question of what standards are being followed. It remains to be seen. This is an issue that calls into question the procedures that must be followed anyway," said Karamuço.
