Altin Dumani: We cannot cooperate with the Police on organized crime, they are involved at high levels

The head of the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime, Altin Dumani, is taking stock of the year 2023 in KLP.

At today's meeting of the High Council of Prosecution, Dumani is accompanied by his two deputy heads, Adnand Xholi and Klodian Braja.

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, said that the involvement of policemen in organized crime is still problematic, hindering the cooperation with the police.

"In certain cases, especially those of organized crime, we cannot cooperate with the police because it turns out that there are policemen involved and it is at high levels", said Dumani.

Also in the annual report, Dumani said that 41 million euros of assets have been seized, and that 18 senior officials are under investigation.
