
The Court of Special Appeals rejected the request of SPAK to exclude the judge, Ilirjana Olldashi from examining the request for the seizure of the assets of Jamarbër Malltez. The decision was given by judge Miljana Muça.
It was the judge Ilirjana Olldashi, who made the decision to change the security measure for the son-in-law of former prime minister Sali Berisha, from "prison arrest" to "house arrest".
We remind you that today the Court is expected to examine Malltez's request for the removal of the seizures for 25 of his assets, as well as Sali Berisha's request for the cancellation of security measures.
The hearings were scheduled for this morning, but due to SPAK's request for the dismissal of the judge, they were postponed for a few hours later.

To declare inadmissible the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime with the object: "the exclusion of Judge Iliriana Olldashi from the consideration of the criminal court case with the object of appeal against the criminal decision no. Act 410, date 20.10.2023 of the Special Court of the First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime for the imposition of the property security measure (preventive seizure), with the complainant, the person under investigation, JM, and the citizen, AM," GJKKO announces .
We remind you that 25 assets have been seized from Jamarbër Malltez, among them apartments, a villa, 6 bank accounts and company shares.
The appeal of GJKKO imposed the security measure "House arrest" on Malltez, while leaving in force the measure "Compulsion to appear" and "Prohibition of travel outside the country" for Sali Berisha.
In the official announcement of GJKKO, it is noted that with the new security measure, Malltez is forbidden to leave his apartment, as well as not to communicate with other people except those who live in the same apartment with him.
