The Special Appeal overturns the GJKKO, returns for trial the former prosecutor of Vlora, Aurel Zarka

The Special Court of Appeal overturns the decision of the GJKKO for the former chief prosecutor of Vlora Aurel Zarka, returns the case for retrial to the GJKKO without giving reasons.

The decision was given this Wednesday by the trio of judges Miliana Muça, Saida Dollani and Dhimitër Lara.

Zarka appealed the decision given by the Special Anti-Corruption Court that sentenced him to 4 years in prison for corruption and unlawful influence in the "Toyota Yaris" case, a sentence that was reduced to 2 years and 8 months due to the summary trial.
