Ardi Veliu resigns from the management of AMP

Ardi Veliu has resigned from the leadership of the Police Supervision Agency.

During today's day, Ardi Veliu held a meeting with his subordinates, where he announced his departure from AMP.

Veliu also personally confirmed the news to the media, who stated that: "I submitted my resignation, finally".

The news circulated in the media a few days ago, while his resignation had not yet been made official. There is no official announcement from AMP or the Ministry about his departure from this post.

The reasons that led Veliu to resign from the management of AMP, a position he held for almost a year, are still unknown. 

Ardi Veliu was appointed head of the AMP in September 2022. Earlier, Veliu was in the post of the General Director of the State Police as well as the Deputy Minister of Energy and Infrastructure.
