Analyst Fatos Lubonja commented on the situation surrounding SPAK's investigations into the sterilization concession, where former Deputy Minister of Health Klodian Rjepaj and businessman Ilir Rrapaj were arrested by order of SPAK.
Lubonja said that this is a scheme similar to that of incinerators as there is theft and fraud with the public money of Albanian taxpayers.
He went on to say that SPAK's investigation is delayed and incomplete considering that this case has been under investigation for 3 years since it was first reported.
Thus, Lubonja has also commented on the arrival of the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Albania to spend a few days off, saying that this is a method of Prime Minister Rama to maintain power.
He stated that in this way his evaluation is increased in the eyes of the public opinion, taking into account the evaluation that Albania has for foreign leaders.
"It is a scheme similar to incinerators, there is theft and fraud with public money. The first denunciations are made and our famous prime minister appears on the scene and justifies his actions by silencing the denouncing media. This case has been investigated for 3 years and the result is that even in cases where a single scalpel was needed, the entire package of surgical tools was sold. With the money they received in one year, the state could pay for 10 years.
3 years is a long time to investigate and the main responsible are protected. The first is the prime minister who bears responsibility even though he did not sign. Despite all the media alerts, they have acted as if this story did not exist and only when it becomes a rumor does the story come out.
