The Chief Prosecutor of Elbasan, Kreshnik Ajazi, arrived this Wednesday at SPAK, where he held a meeting with the special prosecutors for the Elbasan file after the "Never Forget" operation.
The operation led to the signing of 15 arrest warrants, of which 11 have been executed while 4 are still wanted.
It is learned that the meeting between the leaders of the prosecution of Elbasan and the prosecutors of SPAK regarding the file of the repentant Artan Tafani. It will be decided whether the file will be transferred to SPAK or will continue to be investigated by the Elbasan prosecutor's office.
This operation was undertaken after Artan Tafani, one of the members of Laert Haxhiu's gang in Lushnje, agreed to become an associate of justice, clarifying serious criminal events that had happened in Albania and Greece between them and 6 murders.
Kreshnik Ajazi is in charge of the investigation of this file.
Artan Tafani has been interrogated several times by the prosecutors of Elbasan and it is learned that he has also shown the connections of Laert Haxhiu with a criminal group that was involved in the trafficking of Cocaine from Latin America to the port of Pieru in Greece
But also with another murder that happened in the Fier - Lushnje area.
