Dashnor Sula, DP deputy, commented on the opposition action, but also on the latest developments from SPAK.
Sula said that the DP deputies showed Europe the real Albania and not what the Rama government presents.
"A DP mandated group had very important meetings, which produced results. The reality is not what is presented by the government. We showed him the real Albania. We got permission to protest from 11:00 to 23:00. The majority was embarrassed because it had a free way, but now the situation has changed and the voice of the opposition is being heard in Europe", said Sula on A2.
Asked why the banner for Mr. Meta was missing in Strasbourg, Sula said that he will not defend any corrupt politician, but also added that he was disturbed by the way the former president was arrested.
"I'm declaring it publicly, I don't want to protect any corrupt politician, but I was disturbed by the way the former president of the country, Ilir Meta, was arrested. A primitive and arrogant behavior. At the moment when the entire chain of the opposition is imprisoned and the part of the majority continues, they have been arrested by the majority, but it has become mullar and they are wondering what to do with them", said Sula.
Further, Sula stated that SPAK has a time mine in its hand, as he called the issue of SKY ECC and EncroChat phones.
"The majority is turning into a boomerang for Rama. On the eve of the elections, at a time when you are trying to hit the opposition, this stinks and it worries me a lot. There is selectivity from justice where we should be equal before the law. Mine with the clock that SPAK has in hand is SKY ECC and EncroChat. I am not defending any of the opposition, but what business do politicians, ministers, mayors or anyone have to use encrypted phones. SPAK would do a great service to society, but this is not happening. It was enough to make public only the names of the people who used them", said Sula.
