The arrest of senior officials, Eugen Beci: SPAK should not be influenced by politics

The former Prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Eugen Beci, has stated that SPAK's investigation against Vangjush Dako was of high quality.

Invited to the show 'Contrast', Beci said that SPAK's work in the fight against organized crime has been successful so far, but added that the Special Prosecutor's Office should move at the same pace without being influenced by politics.

"It would be very good news if SPAK was not controlled by politics. The international factor does not say arrest this or that. There may be consultations with the international factor. Cooperation is rather a guarantee of independence from internal political actors.

In the fight against organized crime, SPAK has been successful, while it is the right time to start moving at the same pace as it concerns the arrest of senior officials. SPAK should be left alone from politics. Don't be judged or praised", said former prosecutor Beci.
