New details have emerged regarding the arrest of the head of the Tirana Traffic Police by SPAK and two other police officers.
Media sources indicate that there are no security measures from the GJKKO for the chief of Tirana Traffic Police Roven Zeka, the chief of judicial police officers at this police station, Sokol Novaku, and the judicial police officer in the capital's roads, Edison Tabaku.
Prosecutor Elida Kaçkini is expected to file a request with the GJKKO in the coming hours. It is learned that this is not about not referring an accident to the prosecutor's office, but rather not proceeding with an arrest.
According to preliminary data, officials are suspected of having favored the driver of a vehicle involved in the accident in question in exchange for a sum of 2 thousand euros. The latter caused a road accident and was processed at large, although 2 people had received medical assistance in the hospital from the accident.
The issue of the police officers was revealed through wiretaps for another investigative matter.
