Journalist Sokol Dema has stated that Tirana police are still not clear on who the real target of the attack that injured 4 people on Thursday evening in the capital was.
He indicated that the connection between the assassination attempt on Roan Brahimi's father that same evening in Planë i Lezha and the assassination attempt that injured 4 people in Lundë was made based on several elements discovered during the investigation, which to some extent justify the alibi that the target could have been Roan Brahimi's wife, but nothing has been fully confirmed.
" It was 8:00 PM on Thursday when the father of one of the most talked about crime figures in recent years, Roan Brahimi's father, was executed. While everyone was dealing with this incident, the assassination in Tirana, seemingly separate events where 4 people were injured, there was a big question mark when it was discovered that there were 2 minors injured. Today as we speak, the police have not yet clarified who the target was, Roan Brahimi's wife had a similar car and similar tires and this element made the police suspicious, she was questioned, she was not aware of it, but she has not ruled it out as a possibility. If here in Tirana the police are still not clear who the target was, there are some suspicions of the police about some money with interest but nothing confirmed. The area where the incident occurred is overpopulated with people from the underworld, this has meant that the target may have been confused. In the place where the incident occurred, "They were there the day before, waiting or observing, and they were armed, " the journalist said on the Review show on Euronews Albania.
