The former mayor of Shkodra Bardh Spahia has left the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office.
After leaving SPAK, Spahia stated that he was not called for issues related to crime or corruption, but for something else that, according to him, "has no public interest".
"There is no public interest. It is a statement that has nothing to do with corruption, nor with organized crime, nor with dirty money, nothing. There is no interest in public opinion", said Bardh Spahia.
This is the second time that Spahia has been summoned to the prosecutor's office.
Earlier, he was reported to SPAK for violations committed during the electoral campaign for the local elections at the time, when he was running the municipality of Shkodra.
In March of this year, Spahia was reported to SPAK together with several other mayors, for "abuse of duty" in the electoral campaign for the May 14 local elections.
