Dozens of citizens have come out on the streets of Tirana to greet the escort of the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.

The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, begins his eight-hour visit to Tirana, where he is expected to meet with President Bajram Begaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama, and hold a joint press conference with the head of government.

During his stay in Tirana, Mr. Blinken will also meet with a group of about 100 young people who have studied in programs offered by the United States such as Fulbright and the International Leadership Visitor Program, IVLP.
