The Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road axis was closed again during the early hours of the morning, around 02:00, after landslides and the fall of rock masses on the road.
Preliminary sources indicate that the substandard work, combined with recent rainfall, has led to destabilization of the terrain, returning problems to this problematic segment this Sunday.
As a result, vehicle traffic has been suspended and drivers are instructed to avoid this axis, using alternative routes until further notice.
Authorities are expected to intervene to clear the road and restore normal traffic, while the situation is being closely monitored due to the risk of further landslides.
The Traffic Police urge drivers to exercise increased caution, especially during nighttime and difficult weather conditions.
