Residents of the village of Baks-Rrjoll in Shkodra have gathered near the Local Police Directorate to demand the release of several fellow villagers who were escorted during property-related protests.
Protesters oppose police actions and claim that institutions are acting unfairly in land conflicts.

Residents declare that the protests will continue in the coming days and that they will address the justice institutions to seek legal solutions. They emphasize that during the demonstrations no distinction was made between ages and that the interventions were harsh.
The situation before the Local Police Directorate in Shkodra remains tense, while the residents of Baks-Rrjoll await an institutional response to their demands over land ownership.
