The Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) announces that the Elbasan-Qafë Thane axis will be blocked today and traffic will be diverted as a result.
In a post on social networks, ARRSH informs that the traffic diversion will start on the right side, on the new track of the Elbasan/Librazhd road, starting from km 1+440 (at the exit of the village of Fushë-Labinot) to at km 5+720 (near Mirakë train station) using the new track for both directions of round trip.
ARRSH announces that traffic management will be carried out according to the Traffic Management Plan. Meanwhile, it is said that the contractor of the works in cooperation with ARRSH and the Traffic Police have taken all measures for traffic management.
"Following the implementation of the works of the contract "Extension of the road Elbasan-Qafë Thane (Phase I), on 24.05.2024, traffic diversion will be carried out on the right side, on the new route of the road
Elbasan/Librazhd, starting from km 1+440 (at the exit of the village of Fushë-Labinot) to km 5+720 (near the Mirakë train station) using the new track for both directions of movement.
Traffic management will be carried out according to the Traffic Management Plan.
The contractor of the works in cooperation with ARRSH and the Traffic Police have taken all measures for traffic management.
In order to avoid accidents, we instruct drivers to follow the road signs placed on the construction site.
We ask for the understanding of the drivers and the residents of the area for this diversion," says the ARRSH announcement.
