Unable to keep secret the video where the Rraja socialists from Fushë-Kruja were shown beating two people with clubs and pistols, Prime Minister Rama was personally engaged in giving an exemplary punishment, to refute the hypotheses that this type of barbarism was the product of the collaboration of his with these people.
The first decision he took was the dismissal of the interior minister Bledi Çuçi for the negligence he had shown with Rrajat.
The second decision was the removal of deputy Rrahman Rraja through resignation. In a public letter, where he explained his resignation, Rrahman Rraja personally apologized to Prime Minister Rama for the great inconvenience he had caused and that Rama "did not owe him".
As usually happens when there are such scandals, there were also dismissals from the police. The head of the commissariat and other heads of departments in Fushë-Kruje, who had stood idly by, were immediately replaced.
It was understood that the purpose of these movements, authored by Prime Minister Edi Rama, was to show the general public that he had nothing to do with such scenes of the uncle in the sun and that he personally had the necessary strength to break away from the crime.
To make this more clear, the new Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, appeared in the media on the first day of office with a request to the police chiefs: to arrest the son of deputy Rraja, Rexhepi, and his brother, who appeared in the footage with a pistol in his hand. Balla told the police that they had to make these arrests even though Ramazan Rraja was his friend.
Apparently, the measures taken are drastic, but the confession of one of the victims, Jashar Maja, to Euronews last evening leads to the conclusion that all these were just for the eye.
Even after the change of the minister, even after the resignation of deputy Rraja, even after the change of all police chiefs in Fushë-Kruje, the wanted Rrajas continue to circulate freely in the city, he said.
"For what reason are they kept inside and the perpetrators are not caught? Those in the video with guns. Where are they looking?" he said, affirming that the wanted persons are still at large.
"I told the head of the investigation even today. Why don't you catch the authors that you have in hand? "We will catch them" he says. You also told the chief of the police station after the incident when he came to my house. "We will catch them" he said. Yes Yes. In other words, the donkey waits for the grass to grow", said Jashar Maja, confessing that the wanted persons have come out in the open in Fushë-Kruje, and could even be easily filmed in the same premises where they were staying before.
One of them, Maja said, also sent him a message saying that "I will do prison, you will know me later".
The testimony of Jashar Maja, who admits that he saw the wanted persons from the Rraja tribe in Fushë-Kruje, and even threatened them, undoes all the government propaganda about the exemplary punishments that were carried out after the release of the video. From what the victim says, all the moves in the ministry, in the parliamentary group of the SP and in the police were made to discredit the public.
Because in reality, the Plains of Fushë-Kruja remain inviolable. Although they are legally wanted, they are free and untouchable. The maximum that affects them is some flogging in the media for the sake of government propaganda. / Lapsi.al
