The assassination took place at the Balldren exit, where initially the footage shows that the car in which Kreshnik Mujeci and his wife were traveling was cut off by another vehicle.
Something that was immediately understood by the driver of the vehicle, Kreshnik Mujeci, who at this moment made a desperate attempt to turn back, putting the car in reverse gear.
But at this very moment, behind the car in which the couple is traveling, another vehicle passes by, which, after pulling up next to the victims' vehicle, which appears to have already stalled on the road, fires non-stop automatic gunfire.
The shooters' car, which after firing countless bullets at the Mujeci couple's car while moving, is now stationary. The perpetrators are seen getting out of their car and firing once again incessantly at the vehicle in which the Mujeci couple are located.
The perpetrators' vehicle, after committing this massacre, was seen moving in the direction of the exit from the village of Balldren.
And with it, behind them, another vehicle, which seems to be following them.
It would be precisely this event that would alarm the local police structures of Lezha Police, but would also call for help the best criminal experts from Tirana, who, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, carry out a series of actions using proactive methods, with the aim of shedding light and fully legally documenting this serious criminal event.
Investigations that initially begin with the administration and review of all video footage related to both the movement routes of the victims and the perpetrators.
Based on this analysis, one of the vehicles used in the crime was initially identified.
An 'Audi A4' vehicle. But so are the suspected perpetrators of this criminal event. Specifically, according to the police, Adriano Mhillaj, Florin Mhillaj and Renato Mhillaj. Aged 22, 36 and 23 respectively.
As a result of the investigations, information obtained and detailed field checks carried out by the services, in the village of Torovicë, on a secondary road, in arable land, next to a canal, an 'Audi' A4 vehicle was found, which is suspected of being involved in the dynamics of the event and of being used by the co-authors, who had the role of observers of the victims' movements.
During its inspection, documents belonging to the wanted perpetrators were found inside the vehicle.
From the dynamics of the event, it results that the 'Audi' A4 vehicle has been monitoring the movement of citizen Kreshnik Mujeci.
Then, another vehicle, a 'Volkswagen' type, without license plates, allegedly blocked the path of the vehicle in which citizen Kreshnik Mujeci was traveling, together with his wife, and the citizens who were in the vehicle fired a volley of weapons in the direction of his vehicle.
But according to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office, the belief is that the murder of Kreshnik Mujeci and his wife Gentiana occurred for reasons of revenge.
Meanwhile, just two days after the cruel crime, the police were able to find in the village of Torovicë, very close to the scene of the crime, in the apartment of citizen B. K, the 'Volkswagen Polo' vehicle, without license plates, used by the perpetrators.
Inside this vehicle, two Model 56 shell casings were found as material evidence.
Meanwhile, what was found was that the vehicle had a broken rear window and the side door triangles.
Likewise, another vehicle identical to the first vehicle was found in the yard of citizen B. K.
This vehicle, also owned by citizen B. K, but unlike the first one, was equipped with license plates.
It would be precisely the discovery of these vehicles that would lead the investigative group to uncovering the dynamics of the crime.
