Lawyer Jordan Daci commented on the return of the "Compulsory appearance" measure for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
Daci said that he has respect for the judge as far as he knows him, but added that the security measure that was given is a pure mistake.
He said that the "compulsion to appear" measure was used before when there was no address system or communication system, while today things have changed and the defendant can be found easily.
" To be honest, I have respect for the judge, as he is one of the most correct judges as a person, at least that's how I know him. As for the security measure, it is pure error. The 'compulsory appearance' measure was used in some countries, and it was done in the period when there were no addresses and communication was a problem. In a way, it used to be a security measure for this, while today with an SMS you can reach him faster than the one who is on his way to arrive. This is in the historical context of the use of this measure, which was approved in 1994 in an Albania that we know to have been ", said Daci in the Review show on Euronews Albania.
