The scandal of fake diplomas issued by Wisdom University College, against payments of up to 10 thousand euros, has caused an "earthquake" in the Ministry of Education.
Regarding this case, pedagogue Dhurata Shehri said that the Ministry of Education has the duty to control accreditation.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Shehri said that the Accreditation Agency is independent, the board has people who have no curses, personalities, who have made a decision and she suspects that 15 people of these levels are corrupt to give fake degrees.
" There are 2-3 universities that are accredited by the British accreditation agency. I have not worked with accreditations, but it is a super serious procedure. What do I look at? I see that in order to pass the accreditation, you must have quality in education, how many professors you have, the titles they have, how many have master's degrees, etc.
If they have received accreditation, they are professors, who have received professional accreditation and provide human resources to receive that degree.
The Ministry of Education has the duty to control the accreditation. The Accreditation Agency is independent. The board has people who do not swear, personalities, who have made a decision. I doubt that 15 people of these levels are bribed to give fake diplomas.
"Wisdom University College received the accreditation twice out of 4 years, the University of Tirana received it only 1 year", said the pedagogue Shehri.
