Lawyer Spartak Ngjela stated that the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi, may have made an agreement for the latter to go to prison to save the former President.
Ngjela made the comments through a link on the "Review" show on Euronews Albania, where he commented on the divorce between Meta and Kryemadhi.
Njela also said that the time has come for SPAK, which according to him is led by Washington, to save Albania from corruption.
"Everything is called evidence when it is accepted or not accepted in Court. From a professional eye as a lawyer, the defense is a white hat to cover the black pants. I don't know what the Court will do. The alibi seems meaningless to me. The main thing is that justice has come into play on these issues. That it is not only Meta, there are many of these ladies. There are thousands of pages here.
Corruption has buried the well-being of the Albanian people. The time has come for SPAK, which is led by Washington, to liberate Albania from corruption. When the judicial process is opened to see the evidence I will see. The divorce process has nothing to do with the crime. This is the alibi.
If this is an internal agreement for her to go to prison, in a criminal trial, to save Meta, these things have happened in the world, the minister has taken the responsibility to save the prime minister. The mother took the responsibility to save the boy. These are things that have happened in jurisprudence. But we will see how this kind of protection will turn out", said Ngjela.
