At the request of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), 52 assets suspected of being linked to a structured criminal group near the AKSH have been seized.
Analyst Andi Bushati described this group as a "Minister of Crime," claiming that it controlled part of the crime in the country. He also added that this case is a reflection of what is happening in Albania.
"In my opinion, this is a reflection of what is happening in Albania. So far we have seen cases of large-scale theft, but of the most common type, such as that of incinerators. While here, in addition to the abuse of tenders, there is talk of a wider network of influence, which includes various institutions.
"The structure described in the file represents a higher level of organization and influence. If I were to give it a name, I would call it the 'Ministry of Crime'. Edi Rama, through this group, controlled all of Albania's crime. What emerges from this file, in addition to the illegal benefit of public funds, has elements that suggest a combination with other illegal activities ," he said for the show "The Unexposed".
