After returning from the US, Klodjan Braho is expected to make his first public appearance as head of the Special Prosecution Office on Monday next week.
He will present to the High Prosecutorial Council the annual report of SPAK for the past year. The meeting will be held at 10:00 and is expected to last several hours, during which questions and answers are expected.
" The High Prosecutorial Council organizes on Monday, 27.04.2026, at 10:00 a.m. the hearing session with the Head of the Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime, Mr. Klodjan Braho, who will present the work report for 2025. This reporting is done within the framework of the legal obligation provided for in Article 105 of Law No. 97/2016, "On the Organization and Functioning of the Prosecution Office in the Republic of Albania", as amended, to report to the High Prosecutorial Council regarding the progress of the activity of this institution ," the KLP announcement states.
Braho was elected head of SPAK on December 11 last year, replacing Altin Duman in this position. This will be his first time at the KLP to present the report, but also his first public appearance, as the meeting will be Live. It should be noted that Braho was in the US last week and had important meetings.
" The head of SPAK, Klodjan Braho, the head of the section against Organized Crime, Vladimir Mara, and the head of the section against Corruption, Dorina Bejko, were received by Deputy Assistant Attorney General A. Tysen Duva and OPDAT, where they held meetings with the US Department of Justice, ICITAP, FBI and DEA, in order to strengthen cooperation in the fight against international organized crime and corruption ," SPAK announced.
