In the session on the case of 'Gërdec', against the former minister Fatmir Mediu, the United States of America has responded to the Special Court where they request other additional questions and information on the criminal status of the persons who are requested to be interrogated.
SPAK has requested to interrogate American citizens, including Patrick Henry, representative of the American company SAC, and four other American citizens.
It is also learned that the authorities are seeking information on the criminal status of the 5 American citizens who are expected to be questioned.
In the session of February 7, it was announced that the Ministry of Justice has sent the letter to the USA to interrogate Patrick Henry and the representatives of the SAK company. Also, in the same session, it was requested to repeat the call for 3 witnesses: former chief of staff Luan Hoxha, businessman Mihal Delijorgji and former director of the factory, Dritan Minxholli.
SPAK had also asked to repeat the call for Anjola Agolli, the former secretary of the former Minister of Justice of the time, Aldo Bumçi.
For this, SPAK provided the court with a new address, while the only witness who appeared, the former legal director in the Armed Forces, Ilmi Laçaj, refused to give explanations.
The letter to the USA, to ask the American Patrik Henri as the representative of the SAK arms dismantling firm in Gërdec, was started on January 29.
Meanwhile, today's session has also been postponed, while the former minister Fatmir Mediu said that the witnesses have been called to blame the minister.
