The chairman of Lévizja Baskë, Arlind Qori, analyzing the work of SPAK and the recent attacks on politicians and high officials, he expressed the fear of a one-sided justice.
In an interview for the show 'Te Paespozuarit', Qori said that SPAK will show independence and be a commendable institution when it investigates Erion Veliaj and Edi Rama.
" If you ask me and many people, are Meta, Rama and Berisha corrupt? I would say yes and they deserve prison. But the state of law will not know what I think. The state of law must conduct impartial and thorough investigations.
It is possible, I do not know the matter in detail. It is possible that there is bias, but this concern can be raised by me, or by independent analysts, but corrupt people, to say that I will be amnestied because not everyone is being investigated, is like the police arresting me and saying that I am not can't fine, because someone passed by yesterday and you didn't fine him. I have been skeptical of justice reform. I see SPAK's investigations starting with important, but not very important representatives of SP. The second phase is apparently that of Meta and Berisha. Will there be a third phase, where Rama and Veliaj will enter?
If the investigations stop at the second stage, they may be really corrupt, but if the SPAK investigations end with Berisha and Meta, then it seems to me that Ahmetaj and Dako and friends were also put in prison to create the context to hit Berisha and Meta. If it goes to Veliaj and Rama, then we will say well done to SPAK. Today, I do not have this certainty and I do not know if in the future, the investigation will also go to the heads of the socialist majority.
I don't know if Edi Rama is amnestied or not. I'm afraid it is. I am vigilant, I have my doubts and I want to follow the process step by step" , said Qori.
