Regarding the property investigation launched today by the Special Prosecutor's Office against the two mayors of Himara and Kamza, Jorgo Goro and Rakip Suli, Qyno emphasized that this is a routine procedure, that if it is found that the income and expenses are not reconciled, then it can be to change the charges against them.
" We still do not have any official charges from the SPAK against the mayor of Kamza, Rakip Suli, or even the incumbent of Himara, Jorgo Goro. SPAK has a practice that any official, or person, who is prosecuted in that prosecutor's office in parallel with the criminal proceedings for the offense that he is suspected of having committed: he may have committed drug trafficking, he may have committed abuse of office, corruption, or whatever. criminal offense that he is suspected of having committed, in any case, the property investigation is also initiated.
In this case too, the same format was used. The mayors are suspected of abuse of office, falsification of documents as in the case of Jorgo Goro; and on the other hand, such as abuse of office, corruption after or inequality in tenders in the case of Rakip Suli. Investigations are being carried out for the crime and at the same time, an investigation is also being carried out for their assets.
In the case of Suli, the verification of vehicles, bank assets, and all the financial resources of this individual as well as of other family members is being carried out, which if they do not match the income and expenses, there will undoubtedly be other accusations from the side of SPAK.
