Tirana Police Director, Elton Alushi, appeared today at SPAK.
Details are still unknown as to why Alushi went to the Special Prosecution Office.
After leaving the SPAK building, the director of Tirana Police did not comment to the media.
Tirana Police Chief Elton Alushi, although he passed the vetting on September 19, 2024, results in 3 criminal files from the Tirana Prosecutor's Office and problems with the integrity of his security certificates.
Alushi has passed the vetting by the structural re-evaluation commission of the Police Supervision Agency, when this Agency itself has filed a criminal complaint against him, while the Tirana Prosecutor's Office confirms that since 2019, he has 3 criminal files, two of them still under investigation for abuse of office, corruption and collaboration with crime.
Likewise, by Decision No. 30, dated September 16, 2021, the Director of Durrës Police, Elton Alush, was given the measure "Reprimand" for abuses during his duty as Head of the Police Station in Durrës.
