Criminal expert Ervin Karamuço has spoken about the extradition of Dritan Rexhepi from Turkey. Rexhepi is known as one of the heads of cocaine trafficking and considered the "master" of prison escapes.
Karamuço said that Dritan Rexhepi knows the code of silence very well, while adding that there is no chance that he will become a penitent of Albanian justice.
He stressed that Dritan Rexhepi has made genuine attempts to physically eliminate prosecutors in Albania. According to the expert, Rexhepi has great hope in escapes, a "vice" that he has displayed several times in other countries.
According to Karamuço, this is the biggest challenge facing justice in Albania today, with such a character with great light and shadow.
"He doesn't speak, because if he did, he would reveal a series of other lines and things that we haven't even thought about. He doesn't repent. He has attempted to kill prosecutors in Albania. He only has the hope of escaping. This is the biggest challenge we have today," Karamuço told ABC News.
