Today, the former miners protested in front of the Prime Minister's Office as they demand the approval of the status, but also the review of the pensions.

During their speech, the former miners addressed a request to the main institutions, while warning of the next protest.

They requested a face-to-face meeting with Prime Minister Rama while they said that their protests will continue.

Meanwhile, Rama is not in the Prime Minister's Office, but in Dropull, where the bust of the former Greek Prime Minister, Konstantinos Mitsotakis, was also inaugurated.

"The laws in force do not try to meet the needs of the miners, we demand the approval of the miner's status. There is an urgent need for thousands of miners currently working or retired. Its approval gives dignity to mining work, which has been missing for a long time. We address requests for a meeting with the Prime Minister. We ask for an answer as soon as possible. Attached to these requirements we have a draft of rights that should guarantee the status of the miner. We have more than 11 thousand signatures for this draft. We will continue the protests in front of the parliament, the next one is on Monday at 16:30. We invite all those who support this cause to join us", they said among others.

"We call on the state to 'stir'. Or put us in jail better. Or the right, or life. ", said another protester.
