The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has reported to the Law Commission on the activity of SPAK during 2023. He also raised some concerns, including the lack of a legal framework regarding the existence of prosecutors after the end of the mandate. Dumani also emphasized that there is a lack of referrals from public institutions to SPAK.
"Dear MPs, we have presented some concerns that we hope to find solutions, the lack clearly defined in the legal framework regarding the existence of prosecutors after the end of the mandate, the lack of legal advisers, addressing the increased load on the head of SPAK on the issues the backlog of re-evaluation of magistrates after receiving the competence of the public commissioner, the lack of referrals from public institutions, the number of proceedings carried out" , said Dumani.
