Two weeks after his release from prison, Fredi Beleri claims his innocence in the Supreme Court

Two weeks after he was released from the cell, the former mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri, submitted the appeal request to the Supreme Court.

The request was filed this Monday by his lawyer Klodjana Gjyzari at the court's secretariat.

Fredi Beleri and his legal defense claim innocence.

The Court of First Instance and the Court of Special Appeal sentenced the former mayor to 2 years in prison for corruption in the elections of May 14, 2023.
