According to the American diplomat, the fight against crime and corruption must be unstoppable.
The United States of America seeks arrests at all levels. SPAK has started to move, but it seems that the work should not stop there.
The Task Force Nancy VanHorn went to SPAK today, where she met with Altin Duman and the Head of the Anti-Corruption Section at SPAK, Klodjan Braho. She made it clear to them that the US is in support of SPAK, as she demanded that impunity end.
According to the American diplomat, the fight against crime and corruption must be unstoppable. She also asked Duman to show integrity in the investigations.
" Charge Nancy VanHorn met today with the Head of SPAK Altin Dumani and the Head of the Anti-Corruption Section in SPAK, Klodjan Braho, who are committed to the fight against organized crime, corruption and impunity in Albania. Ms. VanHorn expressed the United States' admiration for SPAK's tireless efforts and urged them to continue their courageous and integrity-driven work. She emphasized that SPAK and the independent institutions of Albania have the full support of the United States in their mission for the Albanian people, paving Albania's path towards EU membership , the US embassy announced.
Charge d'affaires Nancy VanHorn has been holding meetings with representatives of the government and institutions for several days, getting to know them more closely. Yesterday she met the Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja, with whom she certainly talked about the reform in justice.
VanHorn said that the US will work hard for justice reform to move forward, as it makes it clear that the corrupt must be punished and the rule of law in the country.

They discussed the essential role of the full implementation of the justice reform in Albania's irreversible path forward towards Euro-Atlantic aspirations. The United States remains committed to supporting Albania's efforts in the fight against corruption, to strengthen the institutions of justice and in support of the rule of law ," the embassy writes.
The message seems to go to all those who want to obstruct justice. Both the left and the right do not want this reform and everything is being done to stop it. But the diplomat seems to have made it clear that regardless of the name at the head of the embassy, the attitude is the same: The reform is not affected. / Pamphlet
