Searches are still ongoing in Burrel Pass to find 29-year-old Ardit Beshiri, who was buried under a mass of earth while he was working with an excavator.
The young man's body has not been found for 48 days. It is learned that at the time of the rupture of the reservoir, 29-year-old Ardit Beshiri was working on the lower side. The flood of water and sand material that had accumulated from the processing of chrome took him away and his fate is still unknown.
Since Saturday, search and rescue teams from AKSEM, the Armed Forces, the state police, local residents and the 29-year-old's family have been on the ground.
Due to the large amount of water and collapsed material, no trace of the 29-year-old has been found, but only some parts of the excavator. The family is appealing for more search efforts in the mountainous terrain.
