The Secretary of the Albanian Association of Banks, Spiro Brumbulli, appeals to citizens to be careful with their bank accounts, at a time when the country seems to be at the center of occasional cyber attacks.
Beetle has warned that hacking groups exploit every opportunity or weakness.
According to him, citizens should be careful especially with technological developments.
"In the era we have entered, we have to get used to a new approach and new habits that were not present before. But in this situation, awareness is also very important. Today in 11 banks we have E-banking, you don't have a meeting with any bank employee and you do every action, make exchanges, make payments. So the multitude of requests that you fulfill makes going to the bank worthless. But today you have to take responsibility. It is not scary to have an E-banking account, but you need to be careful. In many cases in the world, hacking has happened also because they have been shown to be irresponsible. The problem is not only macro institutional, it is also micro. But the war is parallel and there will always be people who will seek to exploit weaknesses. That's why we have to be careful about how to use it, we shouldn't enter unsafe sites, or internets that don't have security", said Brumbulli in Euronews.
