Analyst Mentor Kikia has commented on Ilir Meta's attacks on the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.
Although after leaving the Presidency, Meta had chosen to be a little more distant from the "violent events of politics", Kikia says that she entered the "dance" of attacking SPAK with an aggressive language.
"SPAK has not only been attacked by one political wing, maybe not with this language, it has also been attacked by the government. This is part of the reality as high public and political officials are being attacked by justice and are reacting in this way.
Meta is introduced for the first time in this story. Since leaving office as president, he had chosen a low political position, staying away from the rapid developments and the attitude of the justice's decision against Berisha.
Meta entered this discussion with aggressive language, but not unfamiliar to him. "Meta has been aggressive since he was at the head of the state, the decision to bring the office desk to the Boulevard to sign decrees, the reports with Kim, the warnings for protests," Kikia told Report TV.
Kikia said that Meta's attacks on Altin Duman seem to be related to issues that affect Meta himself, as well as the Freedom Party.
"His return with this language towards Duman seems to have a reason that is directly related to the approach that justice may have towards him personally. This may have prompted such a reaction that seems unprecedented, from the tone of the language, the warnings. Because Meta has been president, head of state, the person in the administrative pyramid at the highest level and such people must maintain some kind of ethics in public communication. What he has demonstrated directly with Duman is not related to SPAK's position in relation to the opposition, but to issues related to Meta and implicating his party," said Kikia.
As for the DASH report, where it is emphasized that there are no political arrests, Kikia says that this shows the determination of the US not to change anything from the political relationship with Berisha, who was also declared non grata.
"The report is in the same line, confirming the determination of the US not to change anything from the political relationship with Berisha. This is also confirmed by the sentence inserted in the report that no political convicts have been confirmed. In a democratic system, no matter how hybrid it is in our country, it is not a question of political prisoners", emphasized Kikia.
