
The Orthodox Easter holidays have brought a significant flow of movements to the southern border points of the country, mainly those with Greece, where there have been tens of thousands of crossings in the last 24 hours.
Mainly, it is the Albanian citizens, who live and work in the neighboring country, who have returned to celebrate Easter with their families in their homeland.
During the last 24 hours, 1,322 Albanian citizens and 2,374 foreign citizens entered Qafë World. In these 24 hours, 621 Albanians and 502 foreigners have come out.
While at the Kakavija customs office, 11 thousand 450 citizens were recorded entering and exiting the country, of which 7 thousand 150 were entering and 4 thousand 300 were exiting. In total, 2 thousand 160 vehicles entered this customs and 1 thousand 104 left.
In Kapshtica, there were 6 thousand 942 entries into the country and 3 thousand 274 exits.
Also, in Qafë Thane, there was an increased flow, with 4 thousand 70 entries and 3 thousand 712 exits.
No problems have been reported so far, considering the work with added counters when there was a need for such a measure.
