Analyst Skënder Minxhozi said that Vangjel Tavo's victory in Himara Municipality was expected.

Of course, Himara's return to the left, in the conditions when the opposition practically abandoned the campaign, when it practically abandoned the confrontation with the government, but simply deals with what its two historical leaders, Berisha and Meta, do, in the conditions when it, that is, after he abandoned it, left it in the hands of a non-existent party such as PBDNJ and a politician who clings only to the lists of big parties, such as Vangjel Dule, who led him to those waters that he knows how to lead. Vangjel Dule transformed a battle, into an electoral contest, in a modest municipality in terms of demographics, but with weight in terms of tourism and economy, into an artificial, diplomatic confrontation between two states.
The race of Himara was experienced not simply as an electoral contest to take over the management of a small town on the Ionian coast, but as an event which moved all the main Athenian media from the country and created expectations that, in reality, it there are none. As we saw, the difference of 1500 votes of Vangjel Tavos blew everything away, today everyone is calm, nobody speaks. "Even those who until yesterday were shouting about the 6,000 voters, who were denied the right to vote due to the expiration of their identity cards, have today abandoned this thesis and surrendered to the numbers", he emphasized for "Newsline".
