Analyst Ben Andoni said that the mistake that was made in the Himara elections was that both candidates came from the minority, while it is an area that has 85% of the Albanian population.
Commenting on the invitation that Vangjel Tavo sent to Mr. Gjikuria to be the vice-mayor of Himara Municipality, Andoni said that in Albania we do not have that democratic culture for such things to happen, or such collaborations.
"Petro Gjikuria cannot accept the invitation of Mayor Tavo as he will be lynched by the Democratic Party and other opposition parties, as has always happened, despite the fact that we are witnesses when DP and SP flirt between them ," said Andoni.
Andoni said that the opposition should provide a different model, since the SPAK is making the denunciation of the opposition's corruption, the media is making it, while the opposition should show the citizen, once again point the finger of the culprit at themselves.
"The opposition must create the spirit among the people, but I am afraid that the DP is also imitating the SP in the worst forms. Albanians are waiting for a new model from the opposition", said Andoni for "News 24".
The analyst added that the opposition must open the party, must offer people with civic profiles, create a completely different model and not wearing the 'free Sali Berisha' shirts.
"They are not creating breath, breath is not created by shouting. Real models must be created, starting from the Municipal Council" , he said.
Ben Andoni said that PD must start with a completely different register, if it wants to come to power.
"I'm sorry that PD, fed up with the opposition, is satisfied with this kind of situation", he concluded.
