Analyst Frrok Çupi has commented on the positions of MP Ervin Salianji and recent developments within the Democratic Party.
During the conversation, Çupi stated that Salianj's movement constitutes a contribution to the Democratic Party and to public opinion.
According to the analyst, Salianji does not have the political strength to move further towards what he calls the "healing" of the Democratic Party.
He also criticized the new approach of some new figures within the DP, questioning the strategy and political message that, according to him, has been reduced to the slogan of overthrowing Prime Minister Edi Rama. Çupi emphasized that, according to him, without a direct confrontation with the figure of Sali Berisha, one cannot talk about internal democracy in the party.
"I see it as a movement, but it is unclear where it is going. And I see it as a movement with no exit that is true within itself. For the DP it is a contribution, but also for the public it is a contribution. While in the political sense it is a utopia. What does the last kilometer mean?" Even these young people do not understand this approach. But in the DP if you do not remove Berisha or you are not against Berisha you are not for democracy. Now they have created as a religion the slogan that we must overthrow Edi Rama. Just like in Mecca, we throw stones at the devil and they do not know who the devil is. Everyone knows that Rama will not be overthrown. The interests of the country and the interests of the people must impose useful politics. I say that not Salianji, but not even 'Salizoti' can make the DP anymore because it is terribly damaged... I remember that if Berisha had been there in his time, Salianji would have been forgotten. Because Saliu's entire philosophy is violence ," said Çupi.
