Ndoi argues that he was ranked first in points by the Selection Committee established by SPAK, which according to him should have been reflected in the final decision-making.
The race for the leadership of the National Bureau of Investigation has ended at the courthouse, after one of the candidates decided to challenge the selection process and the final decision of the High Prosecutorial Council.
Gentian Ndoi, part of the race for the head of the BKH, has appealed to the Administrative Court of Appeal, challenging the appointment of Joni Keta to the position. He claims that the process did not respect legal standards and that the final selection does not reflect the results of the evaluation.
According to the lawsuit, Ndoi argues that he was ranked first in points by the Selection Commission established by SPAK, which according to him should have been reflected in the final decision-making. For this reason, he seeks the annulment of the December 19 decision, by which the KLP appointed the new head of the BKH.
He has also questioned the Selection Committee's report, demanding its cancellation and the entire procedure that led to Keta's appointment, arguing that the acts are unjustified and contrary to the law.
Beyond the objection, Ndoi has also submitted a concrete request: that the court recognize him as the head of the National Bureau of Investigation and oblige the relevant institutions to pay his salary from the moment of the appointment of the current head.
However, the legal framework does not automatically mandate the appointment of the candidate with the most points, as the final selection remains at the discretion of the KLP, while the proposal is made by SPAK.
Previously, Ndoi had attempted to follow the same administrative path with the KLP itself, but his request was not considered, with the argument that the selection procedure does not provide for such an appeal mechanism.
The next hearing at the Appeals Court is scheduled for April 7, where the final conclusions are expected to be heard and then a decision will be made on a case that has already gone from an institutional competition to a judicial showdown.

Në fakt ti do që të ishte një oficer që të vepronte ashtu siç ia bënë Ilirit. Respekte!
