In May of the following year, reports La Repubblica, the "Giro d'Italia" is moved to Albania as the Rama government is ready to pay the appropriate amount. In the meantime, international reports list the Albanian people as the poorest in the region and in Europe, while the most recent increase for pensioners was only 4 thousand old lek.
However, pensioners will have the luxury of seeing on Albanian television screens what they used to see on Italian television screens until yesterday. Moreover, the race will take place in May 2025 when it will also be the peak of the next campaign for the parliamentary elections, the best time for "circus and bread".

And the promising names these days are those of Roglic, Vingegaard, Pogacar and Evenepoel. All of them, or some of them, will be on the pink streets of Tirana.
